Roles And Responsibilities

  • Performs initial and subsequent assessments on women from admission to discharge through evidence-based decisions and practices.
  • Identifies complications in pregnant and labouring women and working collaboratively with the Obsterics team for efficient care and treatment.
  • Provides nursing care and prescribed treatment during prenatal, intranatal and postnatal period
  • Conducts parent education classes for prenatal and post-natal women.
